Not much to say. I have plateaued a bit on weight as you can see from the graph. I haven’t changed my diet much if at all. If anything, I’m eating even healthier. The one difference over the past 6 days is I have started lifting weights again. This might have something to do with the plateau, though weight is not an issue. Frankly, I feel great and am .2 lbs off my target of 185. It will either happen or it won’t.
My knees still need attention, but the arthritis in my hands is basically gone. Cognitively, my memory and sharpness have increased as well. I have stopped taking all medications except one which has been reduced by 50%. The only other supplement I am taking is CoQ10.
If you are taking medications for arthritis, heartburn, or general pain and are not eating clean, you are doing yourself a disservice by not addressing that behavior first. The cost of eating McDonald’s, Domino’s pizza, cakes and ice creams is inflammation, loose bowels, migraines, reduced libido, and/or your general health. The symptoms come on so gradually, you barely notice them.
You don’t need to buy anything or join any program to eat properly, and eating properly is all that is needed to lose weight. Melissa and I have been eating more along the lines of the Plant Paradox recently, but I achieved very similar results a couple of years ago by eliminating all sugars and grains from my diet.
Good luck to you on your journey.
